Klias Wetland River Cruise

Journey 112km from Kota Kinabalu City to the pristine Klias wetlands. Cruise your way down Klias River in an open boat in search of the endemic proboscis monkeys, long tailed macaques, the rare silver languor, and other wildlife along the river bank.

Get your cameras and binoculars on stand-by and keep your eyes peeled for the shy creatures chilling on the branches.

Do remember though, while we are entering a natural habitat where wildlife sightings are common, it is NOT GUARANTEED.

1300hrs depart from Kota Kinabalu city hotel for 2 ½ hours drive to Klias. Upon arrival at the jetty, welcome drinks will be served consisting of coffee or tea and locally made cakes.

At 1630hrs, commence your river cruise in search of the proboscis monkeys and other wildlife. As dusk sets in and on your way back to the jetty, observe the spectacular display of lights by the fireflies. At the jetty, traditional Malay dinner will be served. After dinner, transfer back to Kota Kinabalu city hotel.
